Description: The COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic has been challenging supply chains from different segments of business, requiring new solutions and redesigns from supply chain process in order to keep the continuity and resilience of the downstream and upstream flows. During the pandemic peak, several industry segments suffered disruptions on their supply chains evidencing the severity of this event. COVID-19 outbreak represents an opportunity to rethink the ways in how to design, plan and control supply chains as a true source of learning in order to better prepare supply chains to the future unexpected events such as the current pandemic. In this study we have identify challenges faced by supply chain and the implementation of sustainable and resilient supply chains for the post-COVID-19 pandemic.
