Description: Organization for reaching higher goals and development use motivation. Motivation is a complex phenomenon which is influenced by individual, cultural, ethnic and historical factors. Some methods are suggested to increase employee performance. Recognition, Rewards and incentives are probably among the most popular ones. Traditionally most reward and recognition programs were vague and often given in response to a manager’s perception of when an employee performed exceptionally well. There were usually no set standards by which exceptional performance could be measured, and it could have meant anything from having a good attitude, assisting another department, or being consistently punctual. Performance management and reward systems are indeed crucial tools for fostering employee engagement within an organization. When implemented effectively, these systems can contribute to the overall success of the business by motivating employees, improving their productivity, and enhancing their job satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to know how performance management and reward system helps to improve employee engagement in the organization. The data was collected from 100 employees of salaried employee and was analysed using percentage tables.
