Description: The main objective for this research was to study the working of the existing dealers of TATA Tele services Ltd. and to devise methods to improve performance. The second objective was to study the pattern of telecom usage among customers, and assess their level of satisfaction. The study was carried out in two stages. The first stage had a sample size of 120 which included the study about dealer activities: Here all the dealers attached to a TATA Indicom franchisee in an area were surveyed. The second stage had a sample size of 200 which include a study about the customer perception towards TATA Indicom. Simple random sampling was the sampling technique used. The research design adopted was descriptive type. Information about various activities of the dealers, their opinion about TATA Indicom services, and the customer perception about TATA Indicom were collected using structured questionnaire.
