Description: This is a study on the general public awareness of non-life insurance policies. The main objective of the study is to know the awareness level of non-life insurance policies among general public. It also includes the findings of non-life insurance policies invested by the respondents and the qualities they expect (or) look for while investing in a policy. The secondary objective of the study is to find the suitable medium through which the policy gained awareness and to find in which sector they prefer to go in future. The study is compiled with the help of primary and secondary data. Primary data were collected amongst 200 respondents with the help of structured questionnaire. The sample was collected from various areas in chennai city. Convenience sampling technique was adopted to collect data from the respondents. The secondary sources of data were collected through company profile, websites and other related library books.
