Description: The study entitled “Consumer perception of Hyundai [Model] cars in City” was conducted in Salem City with special reference to HYUNDAI MOTORS INDIA LIMITED. The study was undertaken to know the perception level of the Grand i10 Nios car users and other b-segment car users towards various brands like like Tata Tiago, Maruti Wagon, Maruti Celerio, Renault Kwid, and Datsun Redi-Go o in relation to perception on various aspects. The survey was conducted by collection from various consumers. Many have not preferred to buy Grand i10 Nios cars because of perceptual error on cost and size aspects, so proper steps should be taken to improve the awareness of Grand i10 Nios cars. The respondents who are using Grand i10 Nios cars are mostly satisfied. The performance of some of the previous version i10 Cars is not good. The expectations of the consumers are quite high. Many expect high design, comfort, and mileage in lower-cost involvement. The experience of the consumers and their rating of the cars are moderate, proper awareness campaigns should be given importance. As the study was limited to Thane City only, it was possible for the scholar to understand the demographic profiles and consumer perception.
